Home & Landlord Response were originally set up as a property maintenance company back in 2000 and was known as Home Improvements. In 2009 it became in Home & Landlord Response and is owned and run by Rhonda and Paul Kneller. Claire & Scott Brown bought into the business and became partners later that year. Rhonda and her gas engineer husband, Paul, quickly realised that the most efficient way for both landlords and letting agents to carry out key maintenance work was to outsource the jobs to one company that would develop the unique skills, contacts, product knowledge and deliver an excellent service which could carry out both urgent and on-going maintenance work, large and small.

As a team, Home & Landlord Response realised that this specialist niche market is currently exploding in size in the UK with over three million homes being rented by just over one million landlords. Targeting landlords in addition to homeowners can help to recession proof the Home & Landlord Response business as landlords can’t choose not to do electrical, gas and plumbing work. They are legally obliged to keep the property in good order and if they don’t they are likely to lose their income as tenants move out and can’t be replaced.

It is for this reason that Home & Home & Landlord Response’s business has grown by 50% over the past 12 months alone. Landlord Response are now expanding and we have a variety of new franchise opportunities right now in several locations.
