ransmobility is a family run organisation based in Southampton. The company was founded by Val Athwal a self employed accountant who wanted to start a new venture within the taxi industry. After extensive research Val came to the conclusion that there were no readily available taxis for wheelchair assisted passengers. He enlisted the help of his son Prad Athwal manager of the family businesses and his nephew Rick Athwal who had valuable experience within the taxi trade. After having come up with a business plan they then pitched the idea to the Southampton City Council.
